I am a keen illustrator with a special passion for books and book illustration. I am from Siberia, but have been living in Germany for the last few years. As a person who received higher education in art, I like to use drawing with traditional materials and techniques combined with digital illustration. Over the years, my favorite direction has been portraits, since one of the most interesting things in life for me is the faces of people and animals. Yes, I believe that many animals have faces, not muzzles! That's why I really enjoy inventing characters, creating their own personality for each of them. My education has certified me as a graphic designer, but it has long been clear that my calling is to draw. To use all my various skills to create something interesting, evoking emotions, something that remains in people's memories.
My illustrations express everything that I have absorbed and learned over many years: interest in classical fine art, both the laconicism of lines and forms, as well as the detail and complexity of images, the beauty of black and white illustrations, the magic of color in living paints and much, much more.
Atmosphere, mood, intuitive perception, beauty of lines and color - these are all my priorities in my work as an illustrator.
I also love animals, grow orchids, and am almost always in the company of my furry friend, a blue-eyed little cat with a determined personality to whom I will someday dedicate a personal comic book :)
